Llyr Evans, b.2000

(Close)

Llyr Evans is an artist, photographer and director based between London and Wales. His practice explores themes of belonging, identity and masculinity through the construction and re-contextualisation of familiar imagery.

‘By posing his father in the clothes and accessories which signify his own identity, one which he has described as ‘filtering’ in the context of his hometown, Evans opens the space of the family portrait to allow himself in’.- Dr Flora Dunster, The Routledge Companion to Global Photographies.
